ACS Vesuvius is a double boiler espresso coffee machine that can be placed in the Prosumer segment and can bring the gourmet coffee experience directly to your kitchen. ACS Vesuvius features a hand-made external body that stands out from other coffee machines for simplicity and taste. The vertical lines and the precious solid wood handles combined with a reflective stainless-steel surface create a minimal and elegant look obtained only through the most meticulous design. A very particular feature of the ACS Vesuvius is the absence of knobs, gauges, switches that usually clutter the outside of most coffee machines. ACS Vesuvius has been specially designed to make the presence of the buttons obsolete. The touchscreen display located on the front of the machine may appear complex at first glance but the use is very intuitive. The display interface is customizable in color and contrast. The display shows the day, the time, the temperature of the brew group, the pump pressure and the temperature of the steam boiler, the filling level in the water tank and the selected pressure profile.
ACS VESUVIUS FEATURES
ACS Vesuvius has a system for regulating the temperature of the boiler and the steam boiler through the digital display. ACS Vesuvius allows the possibility to manage the steam and supply functions simultaneously thanks to the double boiler system. The boilers are made of stainless steel with an additional layer of insulation designed not to disperse the heat. Using the touchscreen display, users can adjust the temperatures for each individual boiler. Maintenance and descaling operations are facilitated by integrated drains easily accessible by users. The coffee boiler contains about 0.8 liters while the steam boiler has a capacity of 1.5 liters.
All internal pipes are made of stainless steel for the prevention of scale and condensation. In this case, dry steam and the absence of condensation contribute to creating the conditions for obtaining wonderful latte art with perfect foam.
The main functionality of the ACS Vesuvius is the ability to control the extraction pressure in a complex way through the advanced pressure profiling system. Pressure profiling is easily accessible via the device’s digital touchscreen. Through simple steps users can build and save a maximum of 5 profile settings with the possibility of programming 7 pressure levels within each profile. Each of the 7 stages can be uniquely programmed for pressure setting and duration (in seconds). This function is also very useful to activate the pre-infusion or the possibility of exerting a lower pressure (below 4 bar) at the beginning of the coffee extraction
The advanced pressure profiling system of ACS Vesuvius is managed with the support of the FG304 magnetic gear pump capable of operating reliably within a pressure range from 2 to 12 bar. The pump is powered directly by the tank and this avoids the user the need to reduce the inlet pressure when connected to the water network. The transition from the tank to the water supply takes place with a single switch. The three-liter tank, located on the left side of the machine, is much easier to fill. ACS Vesuvius is also equipped with a low water alarm that warns the user when it is necessary to fill the tank.
